The Hostel on Main in Rockwood, PA offers bikers, hikers and skiers comfortable and affordable accommodations. Bikers and hikers will appreciate that it is conveniently located just three blocks from the Rockwood trail access point and mid-way between the Great Allegheny Passage's Cumberland, MD and Ohiopyle, PA trailheads. Skiers will find it's a short drive to the slopes at Seven Springs and Hidden Valley and the cross-country trails in Laurel Ridge State Park.

Situated in a newly renovated 1900s general store featuring the original tin ceiling, The Hostel On Main is located just two doors down from Rockwood Mill Shoppes and Opera House where guests can refuel with made-from-scratch pizzas, sandwiches, soups, ice cream, baked goods, specialty coffees and cold drinks. The Opera House features musical and theatrical performances complete with buffet lunch and dinners on selected dates from April through December.

The Hostel on Main accommodates guests dormitory-style on sets of bunk beds. A private secure room that sleeps six (three sets of bunk beds) also is available. Enjoy chatting with other bikers and tourists in the living room that features cable television, games and books. (You can get wireless high-speed internet access next door at the Rockwood Mill Shoppes & Opera House.) The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave and washer/dryer. The Hostel on Main has three private guest bathrooms.
